I just wanna say this to y’all fr Ps 23. If the Lord is your Shepherd, you shall not want. In other words, you will not lack anything if He’s leading you.
He leads us beside green pastures. When the land is green, it’s healthy and lush. It’s fruitful, and produces abundantly. This is pastoral language which would be familiar to those living in the Bible days. What does this look like for us now? Well, it’s just as relevant. It looks like - no matter about price hikes, energy/ food bills that have plagued the UK (and the world it seems), this world was never our source. It was, is and always will be the God of Psalm 23. The God of abundance.
So whilst the world is busy with worry and fear, let’s spread our finances before God, to demonstrate our faith in Him, not in news reports, and declare “the Lord is my Shepherd, so I shall not want.”
Amen.
